Softdevice and an NVIDIA 6800 Ultra?

Loosing audio may indicate some other problem. When this happens
do you get some ' buffer full' messages in your syslog ?

An attempt without closed source drivers would be helpfull.

Well at the moment I think the source of your problem has something
to do with color-keying. Thats the way OSD and video are mixed.
Where OSD is drawn in BLACK video should be visible, any other
color should show as is (no video).

Softdevice OSD drawing method could be changed to software alpha
blending. Thats in our setup: "OSD alpha blending:" with values:
"pseudo" | "software"  and applies _not_ for dfb-out.
