i18n done with gettext

AFAICS ATM gettext() is the way this is normally done, so I guess
I would do it that way, too.

There would be one file for each language in VDR itself, and each
plugin would also have its own set of language files. There will
also be a way of converting the exiting i18n files into the new
format.

But this is as far as I'll go here now.
I'm having my mind full of other things and just don't want to
elaborate on this right now.

If you want to implement something here now, that's your choice.
But please don't be mad at me if I choose to do things differently in
version 1.5.
