DXR3, which versions to select?

What the subject says? :)  Coincidentally, that particular patch was
included in my "patched" tarball even before 1.3.22 was out.

Notice "or later" in the description.  In other words: it won't work
with VDR < 1.3.13, but as far as I know, it does work with VDR >=
1.3.13, with the caveats discussed here.

There were loads of threading related patches posted to this list at
1.3.17 time; I've applied all of them.

It's already there.  All the stuff I use is RPM'd for Fedora Core 3 at
http://cachalot.mine.nu/3/  (I do not have any kind of "tree" besides
this, nor do I have time or plans to provide one.)

Me too, that's why I stick with 1.3.17.

Unless I'm mistaken, that's not possible with the DVD plugin.
