Palatki and V Bar V Heritage Sites closed November 3 for Volunteer Appreciation Day

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz., Oct. 26, 2018, For Immediate Release — The Palatki Heritage Site located northwest of Sedona and V Bar V Heritage Site located southeast of Sedona, will be closed Nov. 3 for Volunteer Appreciation Day.

 

The public may visit other heritage and archaeology sites during this time, such as the Honanki, Palatki’s sister site, which will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and located just northwest of Palatki.

 

Palatki and V Bar V Heritage Sites will reopen Nov. 4 as regularly scheduled. For more information go to http://www.fs.usda.gov/main/coconino/learning/history-culture.

 

Please call the Palatki Heritage Site at 928-282-3854 to make reservations for visiting the site in the future as they only take 10 visitors at a time.
