Midgley Bridge parking receives stripes

 

SEDONA, Ariz., June 26, 2018, For Immediate Release – For the first time in its existence the Midgley Bridge parking lot will be closed to receive striping Wednesday (June 27) to designate parking spots for the thousands of visitors it receives.
            Midgley Bridge, a highly visited spot for Sedona visitors, sits just north of Sedona on state Route 89A and will be closed all day to receive lineation and designated parking spaces in compliance with the American Disability Act. The parking lot is expected to open again Thursday (June 28) with 14 parking spots.

            The upgrade for this parking lot is due to the excellent partnership between the local contractor for many of the forest service campgrounds, Recreation Resource Management, and the U.S. Forest Service.
