Auke Recreation Area road closed for hazard tree removal JUNEAU, Alaska, April. 18, 2018 –The Forest Service road through the Auke Recreation Area will be closed on April 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for hazard tree removal. A
hazard tree is a tree that has a structural defect that makes it likely to fail in whole or in part.
