Beaver Creek areas to close for parking improvements
SEDONA, Ariz., Feb. 22, 2018, For Immediate Release —
The Beaver Creek Day Use Picnic Site and area will be closed for parking improvements from Monday (Feb. 26) to March 5 while construction work gets underway to improve
and expand parking.
The Red Rock Ranger District appreciates the public’s patience while the work is completed to remove hazardous roadside parking spaces and increases the site’s parking area from
approximately 18 to 40 parking spaces to accommodate a greater amount of people who recreate at this location.
Construction crews will be operating heavy equipment along Forest Road 618 near Beaver Creek, and flaggers will be present to direct traffic through the area during the construction
period.
