The Coconino National Forest is sponsoring events to help celebrate Arizona archaeology and heritage awareness month in March.
The Red Rock Ranger District of the Coconino NF has planned events where visitors can learn to make fire with friction and many other interesting facts of life passed down from Arizona’s
early Native Americans.
Events are also being planned from numerous agencies throughout Arizona to celebrate its archaeology and heritage. The complete listing of events is on the Arizona State Parks &

Please contact event sponsors to ensure you have the latest information. There are three events sponsored by the Forest Service in Sedona and the Verde Valley area. First Friday at the Red Rock Ranger Station
