Oak Creek Vista to close for improvements

Sedona, Ariz., Nov. 3, 2017, For Immediate Release — The vista overlooking Oak Cree Canyon on state Route 89A will be closed Monday and Tuesday (Nov. 6 and 7) while asphalt patching on driveways and walkways is completed.

The Red Rock Ranger District regrets that the site must be closed for those two days and appreciates the public’s patience while the work is completed to make the vista safer.

The vista is scheduled to be open during its normal visitor hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 8).

There will be no pedestrian or vehicular access to the vista while the construction work is taking place.

For more information on this project please call the Red Rock Ranger District Visitor’s Center at (928) 203-2900.
