Ketchikan-Misty Fiords Ranger District Receives Field Trip Grant KETCHIKAN, Alaska–In May, all Ketchikan fourth-grade students will board a ship for a 3.5-hour sea tour. The Ketchikan-Misty Fiords Ranger District is one of 186
federal sites selected to receive a field trip grant from the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America’s National Parks.
While on board, Forest Service specialists will discuss fish and wildlife biology, geology, and archeology of the shoreline and surrounding
