Upper portion of Schnebly Hill Road scheduled for temporary closure

Flagstaff, Ariz., Nov. 4, 2015, For Immediate Release — The Coconino National Forest has scheduled road maintenance and a temporary closure for an upper portion of Schnebly Hill Road near Foxboro from Nov. 16-20 in order to repair two rusted culverts.

            Traffic will not be allowed to travel on the section under construction during the scheduled maintenance, but the road will be open from Sedona up to the closure point (approximately nine miles), allowing access to the overlook.  The road will also be open from Interstate 17 for approximately one and a half mile.
