Sandy Beach Road to Coffman Cove is now open THORNE BAY, Alaska–The Sandy Beach Road to Coffman Cove above Hatchery Y (Forest Road 30 and 3030 junction) is now open. The
road was closed in late August after heavy rains washed out a section of the road. The Forest Service is continuing to look for a long term solution. For more information, please call the Thorne Bay Ranger District at 907-828-3304. |
