The Kendrick 2 Fire is 100% contained. Final size is 509 acres. Smoke is still visible as the logs and stumps continue to smolder in the interior. Drivers should expect to notice some smoke from Hwy 180 and are urged to continue to drive with caution.  

 

This was determined to be a human-caused fire, and further details are still under investigation. Individuals with information that may help investigators should contact the Coconino National Forest at 928-527-3558.
