Forest considers Yavapai Apache Sewer and Utility Line

Sedona, Ariz. – The Red Rock Ranger District of the Coconino National Forest is preparing an analysis for a proposed buried sewer and utility line project for the Yavapai Apache Nation and is seeking comments on this proposed project.

The proposal includes construction of a buried sewer and other utility lines (likely natural gas with UniSource) in a single trench approximately six feet outside the existing pavement of Middle Verde Road from the Interstate 17 interchange to and along Reservation Loop Road.

Construction is proposed within existing Town of Camp Verde road easements and disturbance areas for construction likely to be 12- to 20-feet wide.
