The Flagstaff Fire Department’s Wildland Fire Management Crew will be conducting prescribed slash pile burns again today. The bulk of today’s burns will be occur on NAU property (S of I-40 & W of Lone Tree Rd) with several other small piles located near Canyon Pet Hospital (River Run Rd – S of Butler), Chisholm Drive (S. Lake Mary Rd.) and in the Westridge neighborhood (W of Downtown). Some smoke may be visible throughout the day but is expected to dissipate quickly.
