The DEIS, which covers portions of the Coconino and Kaibab national forests, documents the analysis of three alternatives considered but eliminated from detailed study and four alternatives considered in detail. As a precursor to the release of the DEIS, the Forest Service is sharing draft working documents including several draft DEIS chapters and draft specialist reports. These documents are available on the 4FRI website at http://www.fs.usda.gov/main/4fri/planning. Reports currently posted on the website include silviculture, fire ecology and air quality, wildlife, soils, socio-economics, and transportation. To request a specific report that is not currently posted, or to be added to the 4FRI mailing list, please call the Forest Service 4FRI interdisciplinary team at (928) 226-4686.
