Dan Moller Cabin closed for replacement

Juneau, AK—U.S. Forest Service officials at the Juneau Ranger District would like to alert recreationists that the Dan Moller Cabin is now administratively closed in preparation for its replacement later this month.

Effective immediately, the cabin is no longer available for rent or use as a warming shelter until reconstruction has completed. The outhouse is also unavailable for use.

Work may begin to remove the old structure as early as Monday, June 7.

The Forest Service asks the public to avoid the construction zone until the project is complete.

For more information, contact Recreation Program Manager Ed Grossman at 789-6237.
