SOUTHWESTERN-NEWS-RELEASE: Kaibab National Forest Fire Information

Fire crews ignited 33 acres of slash piles on the Williams Ranger District, about 7 miles north of Parks today. Smoke impacts are expected in the local area overnight.
On Friday, crews plan to burn approximately 250 acres of piles in the Elk Lee project area, 10 miles southeast of Williams.
