WASHINGTON, Feb. 8, 2023 – Today, Wednesday, February 8, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will be in North Carolina on the heels of President Biden’s State of the Union Address. There, he will host a panel discussion highlighting the major investment being made by USDA to expand markets for America’s climate-smart commodities, leverage the greenhouse gas benefits of climate-smart commodity production, and provide direct, meaningful benefits to production agriculture, including for small and underserved producers in North Carolina and across the country.
