Agriculture Under Secretary Kevin Concannon to Discuss Advancements in Nutrition Assistance for Low Income Women, Infants and Children

                                                                                                         

WASHINGTON, Feb. 28, 2014TODAY, Agriculture Under Secretary Kevin Concannon and Let’s Move! Executive Director Sam Kass will host a media conference call to discuss changes to nutrition assistance provided through the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children, commonly known as WIC. They will be joined by Douglas Greenaway, Executive Director of the National WIC Association.

 

The announcement builds on the ongoing efforts by USDA and the Obama Administration to improve nutrition for our nation’s children and support the health of our next generation.
