Agriculture Secretary Vilsack to Host Media Conference Call Announcing Second Round of Recovery Act Broadband Funding
WASHINGTON, July 1, 2010 – Tomorrow, July 2, 2010, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will host a national media conference call to announce a second round of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act) funding for broadband projects in the United States.
The first round of USDA Recovery Act funding created 68 projects in 31 states and is expected to create approximately 5,000 immediate and direct jobs.
