Re: KDE connect

A new finding today, I installed the full kde desktop (on top of tde) that is supplied with debian-12, and then ran it for a little while including kde-connect. Then, I went back to tde (which is my favorite of course). I found that the kde-connect now worked more like I would expect; i.e., all the icons are filled, most of the plugins (that I have tried anyway) seem to work where some before I made this change did not. So, it appears that the kde-connect may be missing some dependencies, or perhaps the plugins are not linking up to all their dependencies. I think I will just get this working as best I can and keep using it. I think a much better developer than I might be able to get this working fairly quickly as it should with TDE. That is my quick assessment. I think it would be a valuable asset. Does anyone not use a smartphone these days? Especially a person who might be using TDE on Linux?
