Good machines. I still have every Thinkpad I've ever owned, including the
tine TP 500 from 30 years ago and a 750C (the C means it has a color
display) with a cool keyboard that tilts toward you when you open the
machine. All still run -- the 750C has OS/2 on it. I used it to see if you
could compile all of KDE (probably 2.x) in the time it took to drive from
Danbury, Connecticut to Key West, Florida (you couldn't unless you drove
very slowly).

Then again, I still have my old DataVue Spark 8088 machine with its two
720k floppies . . .
