Thank you Salvek,

I allready did this, and even tried tasksel - somewhere, deep in Debian is a 
setting no one seems to know. OK, enough time "lost". I'm writing back the 
backup and starting from there, it's easier.

Thank you all for the help - I did learn afew things on the trip.
