I'll take a look. I mean making everything bigger on the desktop (as my old 
eyes can't really read those tiny characters at 3000x2000).

gtk obviously has a way to "double" everything. On TDE I've changed "Force 
fonts DPI" from 96 to 192 and it globaly works well. Fonts in the TDE "start 
menu" still are tiny, but as I put the icons to start most important things 
in kicker I could live with it.

I'm still testing various settings in "Fonts" to see what it changes.
