I agree. It's s simple thing to blocklist a spammer. If it's a unique domain, 
filter out the domain in both kmail or the like and kshowmail or the like.
I barely get any spam using these tools and methods.

In kmail use both both filters and pop filters. There's also anti spam tools 
under tools.
