There is a "Change menu icon" button to the left of the center "Optional Menus" gadget. Click on that button to get a file browser and look for kmenu. (You might not find it in the choices shown by default; with my distro I have to use the "Other Icons" Browse button to search in /opt/trinity/share/icons/*/*/apps/ for it.)
