In looking at /var/log/syslog.1 from the shutdown last night, only one item was highlighted (using vim to view): at-spi-bus-launcher[963]: XIO: fatal I/O error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server ":0" Otherwise, it appears to have shutdown normally. -- Linux.
