The previous strace showed that it never touched my .ICEauthority, but did look at my -rw-r--r-- 1 gene gene 53 Dec 3 01:41 .DCOPserver_coyote__0 which is world-readable, so I put my ICEauthority back to 0600. but now the strace isn't showing that any more. What is the /etc/group/message-bus? dbus or dcop? neither? > E.
