Flawlessly.

Up to 4 minutes often.

Ofcourse, otherwise no play.

Not at all and no relevant entries there. But I discovered with "ps ax"
when I insert a DVD:

3872 pts/4 Ss 0:00 /bin/bash
3874 ? I 0:00 [kworker/0:0-events]
3892 ? S 0:00 tdeio_media [tdeinit] media
/tmp/tdesocket-peter/tdelauncher760IzT
3893 ? S 0:00 tdeio_system [tdeinit] system
/tmp/tdesocket-peter/tdelauncher760I
3894 ? S 0:00 tdeio_file [tdeinit] file
/tmp/tdesocket-peter/tdelauncher760IzT.s
3895 ? S 0:00 tdeio_thumbnail [tdeinit] thumbnail
/tmp/tdesocket-peter/tdelaunch
3896 pts/4 R+ 0:00 ps ax

So *something* is triggering tdeio_media to start with the annoying
consequence.
How can I prevent this *something* to get active?

Regards, Peter.
