I wasn't going to mention that, as doing so would be a violation of the
Prime Directive, but since you ratted me out... :)

The machine I wrote those emails on developed a time issue for which the
quick-and-dirty solution was to set the timezone back one hour.  It works
out OK locally, but apparently not so much elsewhere.  I haven't worried
about figuring it out because that machine is way past due for a reinstall
anyway.
