Well, it does not work. k3b does "see" the blu-ray disc and it's capacity, but 
it obviously doesn't know that more than a DVD DL can be burned (I tried with 
TDE 4.0.9).

I found out that xfburn (leftover from my initial xfce install) does work 
(although it also does not offer "Blu-Ray". So I'd say the limitation is in 
k3b's code (k3b actually let's me add data, but it does not accept the 
Blu-Ray disc as a possible target).
