Called from the menu, it asks for root pw, but a synaptic-pkexec properly asks for my pw. There are several examples of this failure in the tde menus, no way to run root requiring stuff from the menu's. Gets frustrating at times as there seems to be no consistency for the cli work-a-round's. Some need a sudo, some need a gksudo. Twould be nice if it was fixed. :) > To unsubscribe, e-mail: > trinity-users-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx For additional > commands, e-mail: trinity-users-help@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Read > list messages on the web archive: > http://trinity-users.pearsoncomputing.net/ Please remember not to > top-post: > http://trinity.pearsoncomputing.net/mailing_lists/#top-posting Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
