I also need these files to restore my TDE desktop with a backup (but 
these shouldn't affect menus etc -- only the appearance of fonts and 
colours -- however, there's info about the number and names of the 
workspaces in .qtrc):

~/.fonts.conf
~/.qt/qtrc
~/.qt/tdestylerc
~/.qt/tqtrc
~/.tderc

AFAIK the (standard) desktop configuration is read 
from /opt/trinity/share/* and settings changed by the user from $HOME.
