Hi Felix,

If she's going to use Quickbooks then she'll need some version of Win.  
Quickbooks since 2002(ish) does not play well on Linux.  See this answer:

Even if she's willing to give up QB for some other program (GnuCash, ??), it's 
generally considered easy enough to setup a Win 10 Virtual Machine so that a 
person should just stick with QB (especially if they need to send/share any 
financial data to someone else).
