Modify your /etc/sudoers so that it contains an entry like this: %sudo ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL, (root) NOPASSWD: /bin/chvt and then use xbindkeys to bind e.g F8 to switch to console 8 with "sudo /bin/chvt 8", that's all.
