Several times, even loading a .ngc file in case a trigger was needed.

Humm, curiouser: copy/paste from ssh session to that machine;

gene@GO704:/opt/trinity/share/apps/katepart/syntax$ cp gcode.xml 
~/.trinity/share/apps/katepart/syntax/gcode.xml
cp: cannot create regular file 
`/home/gene/.trinity/share/apps/katepart/syntax/gcode.xml': No such file 
or directory

There is no katepart in that path, and the whole tree is pretty sparse.  
This is a wheezy install.

I didn't try that, didn't want to muck up the code I had loaded in this 
snapshot: but that didn't work as an insert, I'll see if it will attach. 
That worked, now lets see if the server will pass it, I did not shrink 
it in gimp first so its 420k of base64. My apologies. It should show the 
open kate ->tools -> highlighting ->other, list of choices I do have.
