I do trim it down the stuff in my home folder once in a while, and back up files to external drives. At least 6 gb of that is 15 years or more of emails. And then there are some duplicates, where I copy my mozilla or other folders as a precaution before I attempt something both daring and stupid. But like I say, once I get it like I want, I get rid of the garbage.
