Istvan You don't have an nVidia graphics card do you? If so, it may be worth while downloading the official Linux driver. I don't know whether openSuse uses the Nouveau driver but nVidia say that it's been reverse engineered and doesn't always work. I had a similar problem with Ubuntu 16.04. The screen, mouse and keyboard would sometimes freeze and the system required a hard reboot (or REISUB) to get it back. This may also have explained why the Unity default Ubuntu driver didn't work either but I had already installed TDE when this fault occurred. > Hello: > > My TDE session frequently hangs. > A message window opens at the bottom right corner > of the screen saying: > "New display output options are available! > A screen has been added, removed, or changed." > > After this the screen inputs (mouse and keyboard) > become unresponsive.
