Hello André, I have the same behaviour. However, after some trial, I come to the following conclusion: the message sould be understood as: "for 120 minutes you won't have to enter the root password again *for the application you have just given root rights*, not *for all applications*. When I tried, I got this behaviour: open synaptic - asked give root password - ticked the option to keep it - enter root password open gparted- asked give root password open root terminal- asked give root password open synaptic- no password asked - closed synaptic open- no password asked - closed synaptic So I think it's not a bug, it's a missunderstanding of the message's meaning (or maybe we could ask the message to say "kept for up to 120 minutes for this app" Regards, Thierry --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: trinity-users-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx For additional commands, e-mail: trinity-users-help@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Read list messages on the web archive: http://trinity-users.pearsoncomputing.net/ Please remember not to top-post: http://trinity.pearsoncomputing.net/mailing_lists/#top-posting
