I think I know the patch you are referring to, and this is rtslib-level.
What I have in mind is re. the initscripts and setting up the system on startup.

The best way is not to do it.  What do you want to do with these
results?

Actually I think I know what you are doing.  Please grab commit
29dbd9 ("rtslib: don't try to be smart about module loading") from
rtslib-fb if it's indeed what I think it is.
