Are these instructions specific to the 3.12 kernel (as the patch name implies) with the 2.1-0 driver? Or can the same instructions be used when using, say, target-pending/for-next? In that case, would the 2.1 driver still be used? Also, are these instructions "officially" documented anywhere in the user guides or anywhere else? I was unable to find anything like this. Thanks!
