As it is so very often the case, phoronix is wrong and doesn't
understand what it is reporting about, this bit is nonsensical: "In
hoping to have the merged /usr layout ready in time for Debian 13
"Trixie"", as the merged layout has been ready for a long time and
it's the only supported layout already in 12, and is the default since
10. These changes are exclusively about internal build infrastructure
and toolings, ie they affect only internal distribution maintainers,
and have no effect whatsoever on users or developers.
