Facts:
I can manually start kafka. So I know my paths in the Kafka.service file are correct.
I've set environment variables in the Kafka.service file for subsequent prometheus integration.
I'm running locally on a Ubuntu 18.04.
The following files and path locations were validated:
* prometheus_jmx_javaagent-0.3.1.jar
* kafka-0-8-2.yml
See attached screenshots:
* Kafka.service file
* Status of Docker.service
* Fail response (upon attempted start of Kafka.service)
You're talking about kafka.service, but your screenshots are showing the startup of docker-compose@kafka.service -- those are completely different things. Please check whether paths are correct in the latter.
