-----------------------------***----------------------------- >From the Surface Transportation Board, Washington, D.C. -----------------------------***----------------------------- Surface Transportation Board Chairman Roger Nober today provided a schedule of speakers' appearances and their time allocations for the STB's August 31, 2004 public hearing concerning Class Exemption for Expedited Abandonment Procedure for Class II and Class III Railroads, STB Ex Parte No. 647. The hearing will be held immediately after the conclusion of the STB's voting conference, which begins at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2004, in Room 760, the STB's hearing room, on the 7th Floor of the agency's headquarters in the Mercury Building, 1925 K Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. The STB officially announced the public hearing in STB Ex Parte No. 647 in a Notice issued to the public on July 22, 2004. The schedule of speakers' appearances and time allocations as published in the STB's August 24 decision in STB Ex Parte No. 647 is attached. That decision is available for viewing and downloading via the agency's Web site at http://www.stb.dot.gov.
