This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
MIPS: Kconfig: Disable SMP/CPS for 64-bit
to the 4.0-stable tree which can be found at:
http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary
The filename of the patch is:
mips-kconfig-disable-smp-cps-for-64-bit.patch
and it can be found in the queue-4.0 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,
please let <stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> know about it.

A 64-bit build for Malta produces far too many build problems
when SMP/CPS is selected. Moreover, there is currently no 64-bit
product with SMP/CPS so we disable SMP/CPS when building for
64-bit until it is properly supported.
