Are you sure you are running vanilla Linux kernels? From quick googling
it sounds like the cm4 is only supported since 5.16, but I might have
been mislead or something.

Anyway: to get some developer interested in this report, you might have
to perform a bisection
(https://docs.kernel.org/admin-guide/verify-bugs-and-bisect-regressions.html
) to find the change that broke things. But after all that time that
might not even help much. :-/
