Yes, I agree that BE8 is a feature.

But in the situation that CONFIG_CPU_BIG_ENDIAN and CONFIG_CPU_ENDIAN_BE8
are turned on, this feature makes kernel go wrong. So I'm confused about
whether BE8 is a fix or not?  And as I mentioned in the last mail that
commits a2ad9bef and 9f6bb0c2 in 3.10.61 seem trying to fix problems
caused by BE8. So I think BE8 is a problem here.
