OK, I did now.

I wasn't sure about how to use Options 2 and 3 in [1] at the same time. I decided to use --compose, and I hope that's fine with you. If you prefer me to send all of the patches, including those that apply cleanly (Option 2), please let me know.

Another thing I wasn't sure about was that Option 3 in [1] says "Send the patch to stable@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx". Is it really necessary to Cc the maintainers and related mailing lists at this step? or is it better to wait until they are Cc'ed during the review process.

Finally, Sasha Levin's e-mail address returned my e-mails again. Is it my fault because I used get_maintainer.pl directly instead of verifying each address by myself?.

Sasha: could you update your e-mail address in MAINTAINERS?.
