And it indeed does *not* provide libelf-dev (or so). I also could not find any indication how to build it in the accompanying docs. Should there be a ./configure switch it's well concealed. It's hard to believe that the only source for libelf-dev should be the "distro". I guess that would be a first. So long! Rainer Fiebig
